| Way to do a redraw |

We are down to 24 players in the super for the main event (20 spots are getting a seat). My table is full of short-stacks - including myself thanks to AK losing to AQ (Q - on the river of course) at 27 players when I still didn't have a lot of chips, but winning that hand gives me almost an average stack. They do a table redraw since there is "suspected collusion" at the other tables with everyone just folding to the BB waiting for some of us to knock each other out.
So after the redraw, 7 of the 8 players from my table get moved TO THE SAME TABLE!!!
Oh, and I went out 23rd when KsJs couldn't suck out against pocket 9s even after a AsQc6s flop.

Sounds like you really need to work on your rivering game.
DEFINITELY the weakest part of my game.
Did you have ot play that KJs? I mean hang onto your chips for 3 more people to bust?
I did. After getting crippled, I would have been BB in 2 hands, for almost my whole stack. With the laugh of a table re-draw, the "suspected collusion" was still obviously happening. As it is, it took almost 2 more rounds for the next 2 people to bust.
I laugh because they announce numerous times throughout the tourney that they will take actions if they suspect collusion (it's basically rampant in these events), and this is what they did.
Also, I continue to run badly when needing other short stacks to lose. Just at my table, from 30-23, there were 5 times when the shorter stack was all in with the worst hand and won. So between the AK vs. AQ and that, I just suck :) | |
